RAINE Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 22 October 2026. These standards apply to RAINE, the mobile app connected to The Big Come Up, and to content and conduct on our platform. A child means anyone under 18. These protections apply regardless of the age of the person using the service.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
RAINE prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Users must not create, upload, publish, request, possess through the service, distribute, promote or facilitate such material or conduct.
- Sexual images, videos, livestreams or other material depicting or exploiting a child, including computer-generated or manipulated depictions.
- Grooming: building trust with a child for sexual purposes or arranging sexual contact.
- Soliciting sexual conversations, sexual images or sexual acts involving a child.
- Sextortion, threats, blackmail, trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation or offering money, gifts or other benefits to exploit a child.
- Sharing links, instructions or contact details to obtain abusive material, arrange abuse or help others evade child-safety enforcement.
These rules cover profiles, posts, audio and video uploads, comments, Live streams, conversations and other platform activity. Claimed consent, humour or an account's stated age does not excuse prohibited conduct.
How to report a concern in RAINE
- On another user's post, content detail or Live stream, open the Report or block menu (the three-dot icon) to open Safety actions.
- Choose unsafe under Report reason. In Details (optional), explain that this is a child-safety concern and identify the account or activity involved.
- Tap Send report. A successful submission displays Report sent for review. If submission fails, retry or use the contact below.
For an account, conversation or concern without a reportable post or Live stream, open Profile → Settings → Help & Support → Contact Support or Report a Problem. Use the subject Child safety concern, describe what happened and tap Send Message. A successful submission shows a request number.
You can separately choose Block account in Safety actions and confirm the block. Blocking restricts interactions and visibility between the accounts; it does not submit a moderation report. A profile's Safety actions may offer blocking without a content-report form. Use Contact Support or the email below to report the account itself.
Include a username, content or stream reference, approximate date/time and a short description where available. Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected CSAM. Do not include passwords, verification codes or unnecessary identifying information about a child.
Review and protective action
In-app content and Live reports are saved for administrator review. Support messages are also saved for review. Reporting does not automatically remove content or suspend an account.
Authorized administrators can review reports, hide published content from public access, end a Live stream and suspend an account. A report's review status is separate from these protective actions.
Our standard requires prompt protective action when CSAE or CSAM is identified. Confirmed CSAM must be removed from public access; related accounts and activity must be assessed for restrictions and further action. Administrators must not treat marking a report reviewed as a substitute for removing access to violating material.
Any necessary evidence must be handled with restricted access and in accordance with applicable preservation and legal requirements. These standards do not promise continuous monitoring, automatic detection or a fixed response time.
Legal reporting and escalation
RAINE prohibits unlawful exploitation of children. Confirmed CSAM must be escalated for reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, as required by applicable law. The designated child-safety contact is responsible for coordinating the appropriate reporting, preservation and response to lawful requests.
This is a required enforcement standard, not a claim that an automated authority-reporting system is in place. Reporting material within RAINE is not itself a report to law enforcement.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement directly. Do not wait for a response from RAINE, confront a suspected offender or investigate by collecting abusive material.

You do not need to sign in to RAINE to email this address. Send a short description and relevant account or content references, without attaching suspected CSAM. This contact is not an emergency service.
